Van drivers are probably not the most polite people on the road, but even so this guy didn't deserve what he got. A dash cam video from Russia reveals just how dangerous something like a manhole can be.
At first glance the incident seems to a simple one, resulting from the manhole being missing. Metal Thieves routinely take them in Russia to make end's meat.

But after we watched the video a couple of times, we noticed the Ford van's spare wheel, located underneath the back end, snagged the cover which was still present, which is not to say the road wasn't bad.

Either way, this van driver got the fright of his life when the vehicle flew through the air like it was nothing.

Editor's note: That's it, I'm never going to drive in the rain where you can't see the manholes… ever!
