Unless your parents are bikers themselves, chances are they're going to try and persuade you not to get on a motorcycle. As irritating as it's going to be, don't get upset, they only do this because they love you.
They'll come up with all sorts of reasons depending on how creative they are, but the truth is there's only one thing on their minds, and that is safety. And you can't argue with that - riding a bicycle is a few times more dangerous than driving a car. Which is a pretty dangerous activity, to begin with.
Forget about airbags, seatbelts or all the metal surrounding you: the best thing about a car is that your vehicle doesn't get knocked over at the slightest contact and you don't subsequently fall over and hit the hard pavement. Also, you can't just fall out of your car if you're not paying attention, something that can happen with disastrous consequences on a bike. But then again, if you are your own worst enemy while riding maybe you should consider giving up.
Anyway, back to overly-cautious parents, they will sometimes go as far as showing you videos of what can happen or talk about somebody you or they know who got injured in a motorcycle accident, decreeing that the same thing is more than certainly going to happen to you too. This mom, however, took things a little too far. She went and actualy showed her son what she was on about.
Don't say she did it by accident. Of course she did. But haven't you heard about the subconscious? When was she ever going to be faced with such a perfect opportunity? Driving behind her son's motorcycle, catching him unaware, traveling at a low enough speed to make sure nothing bad will happen to him but fast enough to shake him up a little - everything was perfect.
All joke aside, accidents involving motorcycles are never funny, and yet we just couldn't help rolling on the floor. The absurd of the situation is so high you have to wonder whether the mother isn't actually an actress and Jacob a stunt man. To be fair to the mother, Jacob did stop a little awkwardly there with plenty of room left. She was probably checking the traffic to her left and didn't notice his position, ramming him with plenty of speed to knock his bike from under his ass. The action takes place at around the 3:25 mark, but it's worth watching the whole clip to get the full comedic effect. Given what happens, it goes without saying that some foul language is to be expected.
