Lime Green Audi R8 Is a Supercar Done Right

Audi designed the R8 to be a sort of alternative for the people who didn’t want to buy a Porsche 911. It’s heavier and less economical, but is Audi RS4-sourced V8 and Lambo-sourced V10 offer more power than the equivalent Porsche.
Yet it’s in design that the R8 stands out. While most people consider the Porsche 911 to be a sportscar, even in Carrera S form, the Audi R8 is widely accepted to be a supercar. That’s because it set new standards in design and was also engineered to be a bit exotic by the guys at quattro.

We checked the configurator for the R8 V10 Spyder just now, and it’s a wash of silver and black - very German, very understated. But this car sits pretty with its metallic lime green paintjob gleaming in the sun. The unique car was filmed in Italy by Marchettino, sitting in a parking lot beside a BMW.
