At first glance, you might be tempted to say that the Lexus IS F has absolutely no chance to beat the all new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and you could be right if the IS F was stock.
The Corvette looks and we can confirm it is dead stock as it manages to post a quarter mile time close to the official one, that being somewhere around 12 seconds.
On the other hand, the IS F surely must be a “bit” customized, otherwise it would never reached the finish line first. The obvious modification is its rear tires, but we think that alone can’t necessarily shave around 2 seconds of its standard 13 seconds quarter mile time.
