It's always sad to see a supercar catch fire and end up being just a pile of melted metal and carbon fiber, but it's even sadder when we realize that these cars get an early retirement through inappropriate driving.
The latest supercar to burn in the middle of the street, a Verde Ithaca painted Lamborghini Murcielago, was spotted in China. The car caught fire after being involved in an illegal street race and burned to the ground before the fire crews got there, obviously too late.

In fact, not even a Police vehicle was in sight for a very long time, despite the fact that the car was already burning like a torch and the smoke that rose into the air could have been seen from miles away.

The good news is that the driver managed to escape the vehicle without any injuries, but by the look of things after the fire has been extinguished, nothing's gonna bring that Murcielago back.
