Kylie and Lexus Tour Moves to Japan

Back in January, we were informing you of a newly created partnership between pop star Kylie Minogue and luxury auto brand Lexus, who were embarking together on a tour that would promote not only the artist’s concerts, but also the new CT200h.

Aside from Lexus being the main sponsor of Kylie’s Aphrodite - Les Folies 2011 UK tour, Kylie agreed to appear in some TV commercials and print advertisements aimed at raising awareness on the new hybrid hatchback.

The tour now came to an end in the UK, and is now moving to Japan before continuing on to North America. However, British consumers will still get to see Kylie in Lexus’s Quiet Revolution ad campaign. In addition to that, Kylie has her own Lexus CT 200h for her day-to-day transport.

“I am delighted to be working with Lexus on the launch of their new hybrid CT 200h and I am lucky enough to have one of my own. The inspiration behind this tour was to take fans on a euphoric journey of joy, excitement and glamour - three things my Lexus also has! The reaction to the Aphrodite Tour has been absolutely incredible, a big thank you to everyone for coming to see the show,”
Kylie said in a statement for the press.

“Sponsored by the new Lexus CT 200h, the run of magical performances reached its conclusion at the London O2 Arena on Tuesday night. Kylie then brought the curtain down on her successful return to the UK stage by celebrating at the exclusive wrap party, sponsored by the new Lexus CT 200h, the first and only full hybrid model in the premium compact – luxury hatchback – segment,”
a company statement reads.
