King of Europe Drift Event - Sideways Action

Drifting, as a driving technique, has its first documented use in the 1930s, and apparently the first cars to do it were the Auto Union D-Type Grand Prix cars. In its modern incarnation, it has been adopted and then popularized by the Japanese and then the Americans in the early 1990s.
Being the world-wide phenomenon that it has become, the popularity of drifting is ever-increasing and Europeans are starting to understand and appreciate the art of controlled power-slides. Last year, the event was organized in many European countries, including Greece, Serbia, Romania, Slovakia and Spain, and this year is no exception with drifters expecting to entertain crowds all throughout the continent.

The first round of the King of Europe drifting event of the year took place in the Polish city of Poznan between April 20th -  22nd and is a testament to an entire organization dedicated to the art of drifting in all sorts of weird and wonderful vehicles. Thanks to the diversity of vehicles, passionate atmosphere and the spectacular drifts the forecast of the King of Europe drift event is a very good and promising one for the future.
