Ken Block is not just a great driver, but also one of the most influential people in motorsport. He drove all sorts of cars up until now, which we won't mention for obvious reasons, but his latest attempt caught our attention.
Invited to feature in Totalcar's recently released English version, Block was asked to drive a… 22-year-old Ford Sierra Estate. Not exactly the kind of vehicle one could use for drifting or rallying (at least not in this form), but Ken's expected to do just about anything when given a steering wheel.
Well, it wasn't the case. At least not at first, when the American driver struggled to control the heavy 2.9-liter V6-engined Sierra Estate while ruining a great deal of strategically placed cones. Sure, it gets better by the end, but we don't think Ken Block would want to race one of these cars in the World Rally Championship.
No need to get too serious anyway, seems like the Hungarian guys over at Totalcar Magazine had a lot of fun with Block burning their rubber.
