Jeep Brand to Sponsor the 2010 Winter X Games for the Ninth Time

American automaker Jeep will be sponsoring the 2010 Winter X Games for the nineth time, with a special on-location venue prepared specifically for the event. The popular winter actions sports event will take place on Sunday, January 31, at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colorado.
"The Jeep brand and the Winter X Games both signify freedom, adventure, tackling unchartered territories and pursuing the ultimate adrenaline rush," said Mike Manley, President and CEO – Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. "The world's premier winter action sports event provides us with the perfect venue to interact with an array of consumers who enjoy living life on their own terms, exposing them to the Jeep vehicle lineup while communicating the essence of the brand in a unique manner."

As we mentioned earlier, Jeep prepared a unique on-site structure named Jeep “Tag Shop”. This will be a two-story building resembling an enclosed garage with functioning garage doors. The Jeep “Tag Shop” will serve as the headquarters of the companies on-site advertising and promotional activities where consumers can interact with Jeep product specialists, meet popular athletes, enjoy music from the covered second-floor DJ booth, and enter a Jeep on-line sweepstakes. Visitors of both the “Tag Shop” as well as the Jeep.com website will have the opportunity to enter the Jeep Winter Sweepstakes, featuring a daily prize of Rossignol snowboard and ski gear with a grand prize of a trip to the 2011 Winter X Games.

“Three-time Winter X Games gold medalist Gretchen Bleiler will be on hand to sign autographs at the Jeep "Tag Shop." In cooperation with Rossignol, freestyle skiers Xavier Bertoni and Kevin Rolland will also be on-hand for autograph sessions throughout the weekend,” the company announced in a press release. Another appealing activity hosted by Jeep at the 2010 Winter X Games will be the authentic graffiti session, where skilled artists will create four live Jeep/Winter X Games themed paintings each day. The paintings will be on display at the Buttermilk Lodge.
