The Hyundai i30 is an attractive proposition as it is, but UK buyers can now specify a new, and higher-spec range-topping trim level, called ‘Premium’. It features extra kit, and is available with three new paint finishes, on both the estate and the hatchback.
It now gets stuff that would have been relegated to the options list as standard, such as leather upholstery, self-dipping rear-view mirror, electric driver’s seat with lumbar control, heated front seats, keyless entry and start, as well as a manuall-adjustable passenger’s seat.

On the outside, it gets new 17-inch rims, chrome door-handles, electrically-folding side mirrors with incorporated puddle lamps. Pricing, for the hatchback version starts at £19,995, and rises up to £23,900 for a fully-specced estate.

According to Tony Whitehorn, Hyundai Motor UK President and CEO, “the New Generation i30 has proven to be extremely popular with both fleet and retail customers since its launch in March this year. We have seen many customers choosing higher specification models and adding optional extras on top of that for additional comfort and convenience [. . .] The new Premium trim offers exceptional value for money as customers get all the benefits of the option packs, and more, as standard equipment for a relatively nominal increase in overall price.
