How to Replace Taillight or Lightbulb on 1993-1997 Toyota Corolla

The 90’s Toyota Corolla is pretty much a bulletproof car and can be run with no problem even today. And due to its simplicity, you can perform maintenance tasks right in your garage.
This tutorial will show you how to remove the rear taillight on a Toyota Corolla model year 1993 to 1997 in order to change the lightbulbs or replace the whole assembly.

Tools required: 10mm wrench or socket with ratchet
  • Start by removing the panels around the taillight housing in the trunk by simply pulling them off
  • Next, disconnect the cable that goes into the taillight
  • Unscrew the two bolts on the side of the taillight as well as the one inside the trunk according to the video bellow
  • Pull out the taillight assembly
  • Change the bulbs or the whole taillight according to your situation
  • Mount everything back in the reverse order.
