Now this DIY might actually be the easiest way of getting that rude 'stank' out of your car, no matter if it's a BMW or anything else for that matter.
Buying a car like an E30 M3 or an older Bimmer might bring about some issues that didn't even cross your mind. For example, the car might've belonged to someone that smoked 12 packs a day and that smell stays with you, no matter what.

Other examples might include damp rugs or wet upholstery or anything that might cause your interior to stink so bad a skunk won't even enter your car. For such situations you could use all sorts of marketed solutions but the easiest and one of the best ways to deal with it will be presented below.

Citrus! Any kind of citrus! Yeah, it sounds funny, but it actually works! You can use anything you like, oranges, limes, lemons, anything you like. Peel those fruits up and then keep the peels inside your car in plastic containers that are well aired.

Keep them in the car until they get all shriveled up and they absorbed most of the smell. When placing them inside your cabin, make sure they won't spill over and stain your upholstery. You can repeat the process until all the stink is out of the car.

Sure, you won't get that nice 'new-car' smell but at least you'll be able to sit in that car and that's what matters.
