No official details about the car's performances have yet been released. What is known is that the CR-Z will make full use of advanced technologies to provide both enjoyable driving and lower the environmental impact of the hybrid.
Initial rumors claim the production CR-Z will be powered by a four-cylinder engine with a displacement equal or below 1.5l. The electric unit of the hybrid is expected to boost performances 140 horsepower, with a CVT transmission likely to be used as the main means to put power to the ground. Of course, a bigger. 1.8l unit may also be considered fit by Honda to find its way under the hood.
Official details are expected to surface in the following days, as the Tokyo Motor Show opens its doors.
