This summer, BMW launched the revised version of their current M5 model, alongside it revealing the so-called Competition Package. The latter is a kit destined to make current M cars more aggressive and cerebral, like everyone asked them to be.
What exactly is it comprised of? Well, you get 15 extra HP and a broader torque range than in a standard model, a revised chassis and new ride settings. Furthermore, the front axle was revised for better handling whilst the steering rack offers more feedback than before.

The rear differential was also improved, offering more drifting fun whilst Carbon Ceramic Brakes (that are now available as an optional feature) will keep you in check. Last, but not least, the exhaust was revised to offer a meaner tone. You can ‘hear’ all about it in the video below.

If you ask me, that’s exactly how the M5 is supposed to sound like. Not too raspy and not too quiet, the perfect balance between a hooligan and a refined gentleman. Is it really necessary to wake up your neighbors when leaving for work?
