Heico Sportiv Volvo S60 Unveiled

After offering a preview of the project back in July, the tuners at Heico Sportiv have finally released details and photos of their take on the Volvo S60, scheduled for official market launch on September 18. With modifications brought both to the car’s visual appearance as well as under its hood, the Volvo S60 by Heico Sportiv is sporty and dynamic.

“We’ve given the Volvo S60 the expressiveness which potential owners of such a dynamic vehicle crave for,” explains Heico Sportiv General Manager, Holger Hedtke.

The Volvo S60 by Heico Sportiv comes with a two-part spoiler at the front that is mounted on the original bumper and a rear diffuser that accommodates the quad exhaust system (a dual exhaust is also available). The design element made of low-weight, flexible polyurethane plastic (PUR-R-RIM) fulfills the latest pedestrian protection guidelines.

Performance wise, the Volvo S60 has received a series of ECU upgrades that adds some 47 bhp to the 2.0T units, which are now capable of developing 297 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the 4WD version of the T6 now outputs 330 bhp (243 kW) and 460 Nm of torque and, as a result, the vehicle now needs 5.8 seconds to hit  62 mph (100 km/h), which is one second faster than the stock model.

All upgrades fulfill the rigorous Euro 5 emissions classification standard. Further tuning programs for the T3, T4 and T5 engine variants are under development.

The package is rounded off with sport springs, the 18”-20” VOLUTION sport wheel program and aluminum interior add-ons (pedal set, footrest and gear shift knob).
