A premium feel, environment sustainability and cutting edge technology – these are traits very few cars have to embody at the same time. But the BMW i3 is special in that it's the first of its kind.
The i3 will probably stand out like a sore thumb, not a car for boring people. From the way it's shaped to the way you select the driving mode. The designers kept the kidney grille and paired it with U-shaped headlights. This creates a strong presence and unique concept car features give it a futuristic flavor.

This EV doesn't have the Hofmeister kink, but it more than makes up for this with an innovative door design.

If we were to go crazy with the metaphors, we'd say the i3 is like combining German engineering with a bit of French design flare.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
