Harley-Davidson has just released the official pictures of their 2014 iteration of the iconic Dyna Street Bob bobber, also known among more geeky guys as the FXDB.
The 2014 Street Bob styling harks back from the times when the bikes were all about attitude, and we're delighted to see it proudly showing off retro medallions of the sides of the tank, classic mini-apehangers, dual filler caps and a black console slammed onto the reservoir.
The air-cooled Twin-Cam 96 is mated to the Six-Speed Cruise Drive tranny, making sire the 2014 Street Bob can deliver both devastating acceleration and torquey uphill drive and effortless highway-speed hauls.
Even though the MoCo will offer the 2014 Dyna Street Bob in multiple graphics schemes, including custom options, the main thing about the way it looks is a darkened attire, both sober and commanding. With the laced rims being black as well, the darkened engine and frame make a great contrast to the staggered chrome exhausts and other shiny accents.
ABS brakes are standard for the 2014 Dyna Street Bob and this is very good news for the safety-minded riders. Massive as it looks, the new Street bob weighs in at only 305 kg (673 lbs) ready to ride. Oh, and nice to see the Harley-Davidson 2014 Dyna Street Bob sporting the rpm/ gear LCD indicator, a sweet modern feature which is very helpful yet unobtrusive.
