The McLaren MP4-12C is often regarded as one of the best and most advanced supercars in the world, yet it loses out to less technologically-advanced rivals due to the fact that it is just too clinical and too much of an engineers' car. While that is definitely a positive trait to have, as a machine, it just does`t excite the senses visually, as much as the Ferrari 458 or the Lamborghini Gallardo.
However, for those who still want the engineering prowess of the British supercar and a dash of style and individuality thrown into the mix, German tuner Hamann is only too happy to oblige. They offer a €95,000 kit, which completely transforms the look of the car, and if the correct paint is specified, the MP4 will become the head-turner it always deserved to be.
The kit bestows the car with wider wheel arches with vents, a larger front splitter, revised rear diffuser, air scoop on the roof and a rather garish-looking rear wing on the back. To finish off the look, the car gets a set of 21-inch rims.
Inside, Hamann have given the MP4 new alcantara and leather trim, to make the cabin feel just that little bit more special - the standard car has a great cabin, but just like the exterior, it could have been more 'special'.
No word on engine mods, but the 3.8-liter V8 could easily break the 700 hp barrier with minimal interventions, making the Hamann MP4-12C a real stunner of a supercar!
