It's funny to see the way riders and drivers alike believe that once they're clear to enter a junction, this mean the exist is also free, and they throttle on unaware there might be late pedestrians crossing ahead.
The driver in this video approached the crossing while braking firmly as the cars in front were almost stopped, but the scooter rider missed this point altogether. He braked, but it was all much too late, so seeing him rear-ending the silver car was only natural.
As a bonus for his clumsiness, the rider also got the unique opportunity to bump his head against the car's trunk. And this time he was decided to seize the chance. Lol.
