When a custom car shop reaches a certain level of notoriety, be that a TV show or a million Facebook likes, the owner usually decides to open a gift shop with branded merchandise. We have no problem with that, but when the company in question is Forgiato, things can get crazy.
If you're into any kind of car, there's no way you don't know about Forgiato. They're the ones who make all those gigantic wheels for "donks", as well as chromed grilles for every Chevy, Cadillac or Chrysler you can imagine. More recently, the Forgiato dudes also began making custom wheels for exotic cars, like the Mercedes-AMG GT S Edition 1 we showed you yesterday.

That white coupe had been customized by our friends at Office-K, a Tokyo one-stop-shop of craziness. It seems Forgiato sent over not only the alloys but also a custom cigar case. Because that's what it means to be a total boss!

Hopefully, Osamu Tamura won't mind us sharing his personal Facebook photos. We just thought the carbon case was a one-of-a-kind idea that needed to be discovered.

After seeing the item for the first time, we did a bit of digging and found the cigar case is one of the most expensive items on the Forgiato online store. It costs $100 and comes complete with three of the finest tobacco goods you can find.

Carbon fiber is a good example of a technology that's being misused. After all, it was developed in motorsport as a way to save weight and add structural rigidity. But after road-going supercars started adopting it, carbon became a way of showing the world you are rich. Soon, the Chinese found ways to make the complex and expensive weave from cheap plastic.

OK, we may have deviated from the original story a bit, but I was trying to warm you guys up to the idea that the carbon cigar case might actually be made of metal and paint. Still, I can imagine Tony Montana with a set, so it's all good.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
