We’ve just given you the latest 2015 Ford Mustang rendering and until the real deal arrives Ford is offering us a historical appetizer. We’re talking about the clip below, which shows us a melange between Detroit’s History and the Mustang II Concept, the first real preview of the original ‘Stang.
The highlight here is the 1963 Ford Mustang II Concept. The vehicle, which bowed 50 years ago at the United States Grand Pric at Watkins Glen, New York, was created starting with one of the development prototypes.

The footage takes us through Motor City, trying to bring a positive mood when it comes to some of the financial issues Detroit’s been facing. When we last visited Detroit for the 2013 Motor Show, the city seemed to have some potential left to keep those engines running.
