What is it the Audi R8 that makes people wan to smash it against solid objects. Last week, we told you about one such four-ringed sportscar having seen the wrong end of a pole it hit while its owner was street racing.
We have another one of these lovely cars that has been crashed. This time, a $170,000 example belonging to Peruvian footballer Jose Paolo Guerrero Gonzales (27), who hit a taxi cab. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but we’re saddened to see what’s happened to the front end of the R8.

According to AQP Solucions, the striker later boarded a plane back to Hamburg, Germany to rejoin Hamburger SV after international duty, so he must have been OK. Thankfully the damage to the V8-powered sportscar looks to be light.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
