Fiat Launches New Service Plans in the UK

The British division of Fiat had just launched a complete range of comprehensive service plans in the UK, which includes all the parts and labour costs associated with vehicle servicing, while allowing customers to spread the servicing charges.

The new Fiat Service Plans allows customers to spread out the cost for their car servicing requirements over a fixed term in monthly interest-free payments, instead of paying for the work in one go.

The Plans are flexible and costs depend on how many services are required and the customer’s anticipated annual mileage. Once this information is gathered, a monthly cost can be supplied. Currently, a customer with a Fiat 500 1.2 could buy a three-year, 27,000-mile plan for less than £13 a month.

According to Fiat, all Fiat models are eligible for Service Plans which are made by Fiat-trained technicians using original Fiat parts. This allows the car’s service book to be officially stamped.

As well as standard service intervals, Value Service Plans are available for low mileage users and for older (more than three years) vehicles. The program also offers a courtesy car or local collection/delivery service, free wash and vacuum and 10 percent off all Fiat accessories.

says Rob Calver, parts and services director at Fiat Group Automobiles UK, in a release.

“The simple monthly payments make the scheme easier to budget for, providing peace of mind to our customers in a very convenient way. Additionally, a car with a fully stamped service history commands a higher price at the time of resale.”
