Fiat Freemont AWD Gets a Promo Video

The AWD version of the Fiat Freemont is ready for its debut in Italy now, and to promote their #1 MPV of the moment, a commercial has hit TV sets in the peninsula, where the car is available from €24,900 when fitted with the 2.0 MultiJet 2 engine.
The Freemont AWD will get its official debut in its domestic market on February 25-26, which is when it will go on sale in Italy. Obviously, that’s just a promo price, available until the end of March 2012. In the commercial, the Dodge Journey in Fiat guise is being promoted as the sort of AWD car that will take you places where you want to go.

“The Fiat Freemont AWD active four-wheel drive system is on-demand, and it is equipped with an electronic control unit which uses sensors to detect the grip of the four wheels and decides when to transmit traction to the rear. The system intervenes on surfaces where the wheels may not have good grip (mud, snow, ice…) to ensure maximum traction and no limits to the routes the vehicle can take, or in the case of asphalt surfaces, to ensure additional traction and greater safety on bends,” Fiat says.
