Ferrari’s most powerful production car ever, the long anticipated replacement for the 599 has been teased by the Italians themselves in a short video, showing the car on the track, camouflaged as usual. The most impressive V12 flagship yet will be officially unveiled on February 29, which is little more than a week away.
Rumor has it this spectacular GT car will be called the 620, but there has been no official announcement. We’re not going to put our money down for this one, as the 458 Italia was rumored to be called the 450 before it was unveiled.
Unofficial sources indicating that we’ll be dealing with a 6.3-liter V12 producing around 710 hp. The unit will be matted to a double-clutch gearbox and, unlike in the FF, the power will be sent to the rear axle. What is certain is that the car will make extensive use of aluminum in its chassis to keep the weight down.
