Ferrari F12 Doing 300 km/h Shows Why the Autobahn Is Overrated

The clip below takes us to the German Autobahn, where a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is taken a tad past the 300 km/h (12 mph) barrier. While the numbers may sound cool, if you watch the video itself you’ll notice that the fun factor is not really all that high.
Don’t get us wrong, we wouldn’t like the world without the no-speed-limit portions of the Autobahn. Nonetheless, in many cases the idea sounds better than what you actually experience.

As you’ll be able to see in the clip, the fast lane is not always free, so you’ll be doing a lot of braking and accelerating work. Sure, in a 740 HP Ferrari this isn’t something to complain about, but a mountain road where you won’t get past 100 km/h (62 mph) can provide a much more remember-worthy experience. The same can be said about an offroad stint.
