We here are no fans of urban wheelie showing-off, and this video is just the right proof for our opinion.
Wheelie is a stunt and bike stunts are dangerous, especially as many of them go very wrong when performed by riders with insufficient training. Now, performing such stunts in busy traffic is thrice the danger as we're talking about increased chances of sustaining serious injuries or getting killed after being hit or run over by other cars.
Even more, it's about the potential damage inflicted to other road users and their vehicles, or the stupidest accidents involving a "rogue" bike hitting a pedestrian. We get to see this happening every now and then and we just know these things happen and are so much more real than a scary story.
And that's why cops around the world will fine a wheelie rider whenever they see him or her in the city. Urban streets are no place for stunts, period. Oh, and “durak” means a “very stupid person” in Russian.
