Life goes on in South Africa, even after the beloved Nelson Mandela passed away a few months ago. Madiba made sure everything will be ok after his passing and today, the country is heading into possibly its most prosperous days.
Along with prosperity comes he ‘burden’ of beautiful, expensive cars and, when it comes to big price tags, few manufacturers do it better than BMW.
This particular model is a 435i M Sport in Estoril Blue, a car that looks as good as it drives. Fitted with a 3-liter turbocharged engine under the bonnet, making 306 HP and 450 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, this coupe reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.1 seconds, despite being RWD.
However, such performance doesn’t come cheap and it will set you back at least $50,575 in the US, as it’s not yet on sale in South Africa, despite BMW having a plant in the African country since 1968, in Rosslyn, near Pretoria.
