Extending our coverage of the massive eight-car Nurburgring accident that took place on a public track day and left several cars badly damaged, including the famous BMW Ring Taxi.
The video footage is probably the last word when it comes to on-sight eyes, as Youtube user PROBEICH passed through the track area Nordshleife’s Bergwek (mine) shortly after the first cars collided. Thankfully, his racy E30 M3 doesn’t seem to have taken any damage, but the Frenchmen is obviously upset and appalled with the sight of the damaged cars.
To check out the carnage, skip to about 9:50 in the video. Most of the cars passing through the area spot the accident in time and brake to avoid damaging their cars. However, at about 10:28, the seedy BMW Ring Taxi arrive carrying too much speed and smashes into what looks to be that Corvette Z06 and a couple of other cars that had slowed down.
