E92 BMW M3 Race Car Is V8 Madness

Some BMW fans consider the M3 should have never been introduced with a V8 engine, but we’re not among them. The 4.0-liter was a revolution when it came out in late 2007. More powerful and even more efficient, it was miles ahead of the straight-six it replaced.
And to us, saying the hood hump is unpleasant is like saying you don’t want to have a big gold watch because people look at it too much.

The M3’s V8 revs higher and more freely than any other engine in its class. However if you really want to hear an orchestra of eight BMW cylinders you need to check out this race car.

It’s a 24h racer based on the BMW M3 GT2, but using a 500 hp race-tuned V8. The car was filmed by 19Bozzy92 during the 2012 4 Hours of Monza and during some private tests.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
