Ducati Grandstand Announced for 2011 AirAsia British Grand Prix

The 2011 AirAsia British Grand Prix (MotoGP) at Silverstone will see, for the first time on a UK track, the new Ducati rider line-up of Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden. To celebrate this occasion Ducati has a dedicated section of Village B grandstand for the fans.

The Ducati Grandstand ticket will give fans an opportunity to reserve a seat in the Village B Covered Grandstand for the entirety of the MotoGP race weekend.

The Village B Grandstand provides the best views of the new double apex corner which promises to be a popular overtaking opportunity and will see plenty of action. Spectators will see the riders exit Farm Curve and thunder towards Village Corner, the riders will then have a sharp left into The Loop and another hard left into Aintree Corner and onto the fast Wellington Straight.

Village B offers great views as the riders approach the new Arena section and Becketts. The ticket includes access to General Admission areas and to any roving grandstands on Friday and Saturday. As part of the Ducati Grandstand package spectators will receive on Sunday an official Ducati T Shirt and Cap helping to create a sea of red in this Ducati fan area.

Tickets cost £148.09 (the same as Silverstone’s Weekend Platinum Grandstand package) and will be on sale only through Silverstone.

“Ducati Grandstand tickets include a roving seat on Friday and Saturday, within the Platinum grade of grandstands, and a reserved seat for Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the designated grandstand. All Platinum grandstands are covered and the Ducati Grandstand ticket includes a dedicated Ducati area with a free Ducati T-Shirt and Cap,”
Ducati says.
