Stefano Venier is a bike customizer with an eye for in-your-face machines and surprising skills in eliminating all the unnecessary parts from a build. Witness the birth of his latest creation, the Ducao 999VX.
Starting off from a 2003 Ducati 999s Testastretta, Venier quickly moved the new machine into the naked realm and left it bare and aggressive, eager to show off the might beneath the old bodywork. The main goal of the build was to add solid streetability to the rather track-minded 999s, and the result is just what the bike needed.

The tail of the bike was reworked to integrate the custom seat, with the rear light embedded in the hump for a clean look.

Venier also had to remove and relocat a lot of other parts, wires and the like in order to keep the VX looking tidy and uncluttered.

A STM EVO clutch replaced the old one, with Discacciati front brakes, Ducati GT1000 laced wheels, and a quickshifter system added for flawless performance. A RapidBike ECU found its way on the 999VX and brought the power over 150hp.

The exhaust is a mix of Termignoni headers and a Zad can. However, no matter how much he tried, Mr. Venier could not find a way to better the tank. That is, Pierre Terblanche's tank...
