Drag Race: Peugeot 205 GTi vs 208 GTi

Just a decade ago, supermini hot hatches were a bit strange, a bit underpowered and quite impractical. But 2013 came and an explosion of pocket rockets took place. Forget about MINI, forget about the old Honda Civic, all you need to think is "Peugeot", "Renault" and "Ford".

All three of these carmakers have just launched similar cars, with 200 hp from 1.6-liter turbo engines. Of the three, the 208 GTi has built a reputation for being softer, more forgiving and less sporty.

However, it's still just as fast as its rivals and more than a match for its older alter egos. The guys over at Magazine Motorsport organized a little drag race between a 205 GTi and a 208 GTi. Legend vs new boy, the more modern car shows the old timer what it means to be really hot.
