Donuts Now Allowed after F1 Races: Winner Takes It All

Sebastian Vettel may have just won himself some admirers, as he deserves the most credit for FIA’s latest decision, making donuts and other forms of hooning legal after the race.
Last season, the Red Bull driver repeatedly ignored the donuts-banning rule, with the financial toll reaching EUR25,000 ($35,000). Well, that’s been changed now, but only for the winner.

While the others must end the event in discipline, the winner is allowed to engage in whatever spectacular manifestation he feels like, from performing donuts and picking up the flag to stopping on the track.

Of course, there are some borders to the accepted victory celebrations. To be more specific, the driver mustn’t endanger others or delay the final ceremony. What’s more, the legality of the car mustn’t be interfered with in the process.

Well, we have less than one month before we see the new rule become a tire-smoking reality on the track.
