American manufacturer Dodge announced yesterday the debut of the “Challenger Chase To Win” sweepstakes, a competition at the end of which one lucky man or woman will drive away in a Dodge Challenger R/T.
The sweepstakes will end as soon as the NASCAR racing season does and was created to celebrate the Nationwide Series entry of the Challenger. It is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, above the age of 18 and owners of a driver's license. Entry for the sweepstakes can be submitted by following this link.
“We’re excited to offer one lucky winner a Dodge Challenger R/T that is truly one of a kind,” said Ralph Gilles, Dodge Brand CEO. “Following the on-track debut of the Dodge Challenger this summer, seeing a custom No. 12 Penske Racing Challenger on the street is going to be very cool.”
The Challenger R/T on the line is powered by a 5.7l HEMI V8 engine that produces 376 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque. It accelerates from naught to sixty in under six seconds. The car is painted in a black-and-orange color graphic scheme to resemble the No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge which Justin Allgaier will drive from July 2.
The sweepstakes ends on November 30, with the lucky winner to be announced on or around December 14. The winner will be randomly picked by Dodge from the valid entries.
