Do you have any idea how good the E30 M3 was? Care to put it in words? Well, to give you an idea, it was so good that now, almost 30 years later, big tuning companies still use it to prove how much power it can handle.
The chassis the E30 used was and still is one of the best ever made. Otherwise, how could it handle 800 HP? Yes, we said 800 HP and that’s exactly how much the M3 in the next video you’re about to see, has.
The car was created by the guys from DM Performance and it is absolutely crazy! The engine was swapped with a BMW E34 M5 3.8-liter straight 6-cylinder unit that, after they were done turbocharging it, develops 800 HP at the crank.
Of course, they gave the car new brakes to keep up with the power (straight out of a Porsche 996 GT3 RS), some new Bilstein shocks, Yokohama Parada tires at the front and Dunlop SP Race at the back and a professional driver. After that, they sent it on the Nurburgring, to show us what it’s got and let us tell you, it has a lot up its sleeve.
