Qatar is one of those places where you know opulence is at home. The amount of money Arab princes and sheiks have around there is just ridiculous and that’s the one place where you’re bound to be stunned by exotic pets more than in any other side of the world.
It has become a sort of habit for them to have lions, tigers and even Komodo dragons around the house just because they can. Well, at least in the case of tigers and lions they are kind of cute but who would want a dangerous reptile hanging around?

One recent video posted on Youtube that has come to our attention shows us the preferences animals have for individual cars. After all, the looks and design of some of our favorites are supposed to arouse some basic instincts deep inside us, right?

Well, it looks like Kiara, a lion cub, has her mind set up about which one is her favorite between a Ford GT and a BMW M6 Gran Coupe. Let us give you a hint: it’s not the Ford!

While a debate on the subject would take years to settle (we’re probably wrong about that), the animal had no time to waste. She climbed on the M6 and spent some time on it, as the camera was bugging her and watching her every move.

On the specs side of things, the American supercar has the upper hand, even though it was developed back in the early 2000s. It has a 5.4-liter V8 under the bonnet making 550 HP and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque and reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds. Back in the day it used to be at the top of the food chain.

Today, it is nearly matched by a simple four-door coupe like the M6 Gran Coupe. The Bavarian uses a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 making 560 HP and 501 lb-ft (680 lb-ft) of torque and will reach the benchmark speed in 4.2 seconds. At the same time, it offers seating for 4 people. Kiara wants comfort, apparently.
