The Russian ingenuity is famous across the world and if it’s not it should be. You guys might remember that story/joke about astronauts and cosmonauts. Apparently, NASA sank millions into creating a pen that still works in zero gravity, while the Russians… just used normal pencils. We don’t know if it’s true, but we do known the guys in the next video are funny and crafty.
When the mountains of snow melt, the deluge of water is too high for the drain system, especially when it comes to badly designed new systems around outskirt complexes. When the quantity of water goes over the normal levels, flooding in nearby buildings occurs, potentially causing structural damage.

Meet Andrei Popov, who we think deserves the People’s Hero medal for tractor driving skills. IN his little snow plow/bulldozer, he tries to create a wave of water, driving it way from a residential complex. As he’s doing this, his colleague shouts out “Smile, tomorrow you’ll be on Youtube”.

The incident was filmed by the guys at English Russia only a few days ago in the city of Novosibirsk. It shows a little bit of that “we’ll just use pencils” mentality. If this were to happen in or America, they’d have waited for specialist equipment to arrive. England has been flooded by rain this winter but just look how bad the Russians have it and aren’t complaining.
