Formerly a 500 GBP ($780 or €585) cash back program for on-road machinery, Suzuki's new strategy for bringing in more customers now offers a 800 GBP ($1,250 or €938) rebate for the 2013 RM-Z450 and RM-Z250, two highly-popular off-road bikes.
Suzuki's cash back offer was one of the smartest moves the Japanese manufacturer made both in Europe and in North America, as the revised sales strategies proved to be a complete success.
With Suzuki's (former) US branch sent to the bin and a new organization being created, it was only natural that special offers were needed to bring customers back. Zero-percent financing, great deals for Yoshimura exhausts and cash back programs proved to be what it took to have people buying Suzuki bikes once more.
The 2013 RM-Z450 and RM-Z250 come with multiple upgrades over the previous models, including the premium Showa SFF (Separate Fork Function) technology, with compression and rebound separated between the two fork legs, making the bikes lighter and providing riders with more setup possibilities.
