When you finally get the cash to buy a new car and hit that dealership you’ve been passing by for the last couple of months, the first thing you look for is your dream car. Sure, it’s not a new car, but it’s what you want. Checking it under the bonnet is the first thing you do. Finding a couple making love on the roof top is the last thing you'd expect.
That’s how things turned out the other day in West Palm Beach, Florida. A witness at Mike’s Auto Sales on the Dixie Highway was the one to call 911 at 3:00 a.m. saying he spotted a couple having sex on the roof of one of the cars. When they saw him looking, the man explained, they started yelling at him.
It’s not quite clear what was the witness doing there at the particular hour or if he stayed there until the officers arrived at the spot, but reports are the two were still minding their business when the detectives got there. Later identified as 18-year old Erin Byrd and 29-year old Ramon Mitchell, the couple was quite annoyed of the interruption.
In fact, as the pair was led off into custody, the officers say Mitchell even spit in the face of one of the investigators. Both were charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, trespassing and auto burglary. While Byrd is now free, her 11 years older boyfriend is still in jail and will also be charged with battery on a law officer.
