It certainly feels like Mercedes is losing its patience sooner than us, in the wake of launching its new C63 AMG model. They are releasing videos on a continuous loop these days and the latest is definitely one of the best.
Thanks to their 15-second clip we now have an ever better idea of how the car will sound like, not that we’ve been expecting it to be a whole lot different from the Sedan version.

What we’re guessing is featured in the video has to be an S version which has more power than its ‘regular’ C63 AMG brother. The difference sits at exactly 43 HP, which is the gap between 467 HP and 510.

Unlike BMW that decided to separate the Coupe and Sedan versions of its rival M car as much as possible, even using different names, Mercedes is seemingly impervious to such schematics and decided to stick to their guns.

Under the bonnet of the Coupe, we’re expecting the same 4-liter twin-turbo V8 mill as on the Sedan, making the same amount of torque and power, as we mentioned above. The difference between the two might either be extremely small or non-existent, depending on the weight factor as the transmission will be the same.

That being said, if the Coupe turns out to be slightly lighter on its feet than its brother, we could see it post a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of under 4 seconds. Otherwise, don’t get your hopes too high.

Considering how heavy the Sedan is and how wildly criticized it was for it, we could see Mercedes making amends. That’s if they didn’t come to the conclusion that the Coupe was too far in development for anything to be changed.

Either way, we’re sure going to love seeing it both unveiled and going toe to toe with the BMW M4 on a track.
