Now struggling to keep up with European rivals from Mercedes-Benz and BMW, Cadillac was quite the big kahuna in the luxury car business before World War II. Its V12 and V16-engined pre-WW2 vehicles, most of them fitted with coach-built bodies, are sought after and very expensive once they hit the auction block.
Just like the 1931 V12 Rumble Seat Coupe you’re about to see below, a vehicle that has won many classic car beauty contests after being restored. Scheduled to go under the hammer in Anaheim next month, during a Mecum Auctions sale, this two-door Cadillac was bodied by Fisher and comes with an interior created by Fleetwood.

It has a little over 43,000 miles on the odometer and was subjected to a thorough restoration process that lasted three and a half years. It’s the perfect collectors item!
