Chevrolet Corvette C6 vs Ford Mustang GT Drag Race

Seeing a drag race between any ordinary Corvette and Mustang would surely gather a whole bunch of fans from either brand, but how about something special: a couple of tuned models that can run the quarter mile in the elevens.
Of course, a normal Mustang GT couldn’t touch the ‘Vette even if it had a bad start, but since the pony is an American racing legend, there’s no shortage of tuning kits that will turbocharge or supercharge you block into the 1000 hp area.

Running a decent 11.024s at 120.24 miles per hour, the Mustang is no slouch, but the C6 Corvette post a 10.957 second run at 123.7 mph and scores the win for the Chevy fans. But the start favored the Ford, with a power deficit likely being the cause of the loss, as the C6 reels it in towards the end.
