British customers can now place orders for the Chevrolet Camaro, with the pony car starting at GBP34,995 for the Coupe and GBP39,995 for the Convertible. Alongside the standard models, Chevy is offering the 2012 45th anniversary Camaro (the one you see pictured here), which comes dressed in Carbon Black Flash and wears custom red and silver anniversary stripes, 20-inch alloy wheels and comes with unique 45th anniversary leather interior.
This can be yours starting from GBP36,495 for the Coupe and GBP41,965 for the Convertible. All models come in standard with a six-speed manual gearbox, but Chevrolet also offers a six-speed automatic as an option (for GBP1,500).
In the UK, Chevy only offers one engine option (at least for now): a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 that produces 432 hp (405 hp for the auto ‘box), with the 0 to 62 mph time standing between 5.2 seconds (manual Coupe) and 5.6 seconds (auto Convertible), with all models having an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
