UK lighting and installation specialist Challenger Lighting Services recently decided to adopt the new Toyota Proace van for its fleet.
Actually, it’s the first time the Gosport-based business choses Toyota, with an initial eight Proace vans going in service across the south of England. Around a dozen more are set to be ordered in 2014, all acquired with support from Toyota Financial Services (TFS).
All the vans come with long wheelbase and standard height, being powered by the 126 bhp 2-liter diesel engine, returning a combined fuel consumption of 44.1 mpg.
Launched earlier this year, the Proace can be had in two wheelbase lengths and two heights, as well as a choice of three diesel engines. Standard equipment includes airbags for both driver and passenger, front fog lights, heated door mirrors, electric windows and daytime running lights.
