If anyone still had doubts as to the success of the Can-Am Spyder, here's a nifty news fresh from BRP. The company has delivered its 100,000th Spyder trike that rolled off the production line.
The handing over ceremony took place during the biggest Spyder rally in the US, the Spyderfest in Springfield, Missouri. The lucky customer who rode the 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3-S home is a local firefighter named Brahm Wilson. He was accompanied by his wife Rachel and they received the trike from BRP official Marc R. Lacroix and Len Damouth of Pitt Bull Powersports, the dealer that sold it to Wilson.

How does 1,200 Spyders in one place sound?

The Spyderfest is growing by the year, and the recent gathering summoned over 1,200 Can-Am owners. Wilson has been riding motorcycles in the past and after a hiatus he decided that he should give three-wheelers a try.

“I’m an ex-motorcyclist, returning to riding after a few years away and I have been admiring the Can-Am Spyder for a while now. With the introduction of the Spyder F3, I decided that was the bike for me, and it ended up being the 100,000th to come off the assembly line. I couldn’t ask for anything more than to share this amazing experience with the Spyder community at Spyderfest,” says Wilson.

The F3 is the newest addition to Can-Am's line-up, sporting a 115 hp 1,330cc Rotax three-cylinder engine and packing 96 lb-ft (130 Nm) of torque. Transmission is either manual, or semi-automatic, and SCS Stability Control System, TCS Traction Control System, ABS Anti-lock Braking System, and DPS Dynamic Power Steering are standard.
