No, Mercedes hasn’t put a mad man in charge of redefining the pricing for the 2014 S-Class. Nevetheless, you can now order one for as little as EUR15,90 ($21), but you have to keep in mind that we are talking about a scale model.
Back in May, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class was fully revealed by a 1:18 scale model made by French company Norev. Now Mercedes is brining the S-Class scale model topic under the spotlights, with the company revealing an entire range of S-Class scale models in Germany.

It all starts with Herpa’s 1:87 scale 2014 S-Class, which measures 5.8 cm (2.3 inches) in length and includes 26 individual parts. The model, which can be ordered in blue anthracite, diamond white metallic, comes in a package that includes a printed plinth and presentation case. EUR 15.90 and it’s yours - 19 percent VAT included.

Moving further we find Schuco’s 1:43-scale S-Class, which uses the long wheelbase S500 as a starting point. This is a hand-assembled model with 55 individual parts and measures 12 cm (4.7 inches) in length. For EUR29.90 ($37) you can have it in diamond silver, diamond white metallic bright and magnetite black. This also comes with a printed plinth and a presentation case.

The line-up is topped by the aforementioned 1:18 scale model by Norev, which is made of 145 parts. This is also based on the long wheelbase S500 and comes with a plethora of details. Among others, these include elements like a panoramic sliding sunroof, LED Intelligent Light System and also multi-spoke light-alloy wheels. You can have it in blue anthracite, iridium silver and diamond white metallic bright. The price for Judas sits at EUR79.90 ($106).
