The Volkswagen Golf R comes with all-wheel-drive uses high-performance tires, so when you place such a car on the road, and put a police officer behind the wheel, you really don’t expect the result of a drive test to be the one from the aforementioned image, do you?
The Greater Manchester Police (GMP) took the hot hatch for a spin, which is not a supercar, as Manchester Evening News writes, as it was considering adding the vehicle to its fleet. This all happened on public roads at 2 am, with the accident coming when the 40-year old driver entered a roundabout in Wharfside Way, Trafford Park, loosing control.

The vehicle, which comes with a price of GBP40,000 (USD62,800 or EUR47,700 at the current exchange rates) was written off in the accident and the officer was rescued by firefighters.
