BMWs are really appreciated on the Chinese market, and most people if given the choice (and money) would buy one. This shows in their very good sales records so far, and September makes no exception, as they recorded a 59% increase, reaching 29,631 units sold. The best sellers are the long-wheelbase 3-Series, and the X1 compact SUV, followed by the 5-Series.
Since the start of the year, BMW has managed to sell 237,056 units, which represents a significant 34% increase over the same period of last year. This is quite odd, since the Chinese economy is no longer growing at the same rate it used to, and for instance, their manufacturing industry has been in decline for the last 11 months.
However, cars will always be bought, and with the Chinese affinity for BMW still very strong, the Bavarian automaker will continue to record excellent numbers in the coming months, as well.
