BMW X1 M Sport Package UK Pricing Announced

Set for world public debut at the forthcoming Geneva Auto Show in March, the recently revealed M Sport Package for the BMW X1 now has a price tag put on for the UK market. Getting straight to the point, pricing for the BMW X1 M Sport starts at GBP26,612 for the 18d sDrive model, and at GBP27,710 for the 18d xDrive variant.

The M Sport specification sees the addition of 17-inch star-spoke M alloy wheels, chrome plated door sill finishers with M designation, High-gloss Shadowline exterior trim for the window surrounds, M Sport multi-function steering wheel, Sport seats and Anthracite headlining.

The model is available in Alpine White, Le Mans Blue, Sapphire Black, Space Grey, Vermillion Red and Mineral White.

In addition to that, the German automaker has also added a new engine option for their X1 lineup recently, which is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine featuring an all aluminium crankcase and a single turbocharger. This engine produces 245 hp and 350 Nm of torque, returns 37.5 mpg (combined UK consumption figures) and has emission levels of 186 g/km of CO2.

“Lighter and more compact than the equivalent six-cylinder engine, the new four-cylinder unit has 16 per cent better fuel consumption. The employment of the latest generation of VALVETRONIC systems together with solenoid injectors help to increase the efficiency of this engine while enhancing driving pleasure with faster responses,” a company statement reads.

The 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine will be available in models such as the BMW Z4 and 5 Series models.

Pricing has also been confirmed for the BMW X3 M Sport which starts at GBP33,830 OTR for an xDrive 20d M Sport.
